2003 U.S. Blind Players' Championship

The 2003 U.S. Championship for blind players was held on August 9th and 10th at the Los Angeles airport Radisson hotel, in conjunction with The U.S. Open tournament. The turnout was very disappointing, with only three participants.

Here black thought for over half an hour. The alternative was 22-Rf4. Black decided that it was safer to exchange queens and play the endgame with white's pawn weaknesses.
